The Inspiration Behind The Spiral Brand Identity
The “succulent Fibonacci sequence” refers to the way many succulents, and other plants, display spiral patterns and arrangements that follow the mathematical Fibonacci sequence, 1, 1, 2, 3, 5, 8, 13, and so on.
This arrangement, known as spiral phyllotaxis, occurs because it optimizes space and sunlight exposure for leaves, seeds, or petals by creating a logarithmic spiral. You can see this pattern in the arrangement of succulent leaves, ribs, or in the spirals of their flower buds.
